Malicious
Website Redirection
There
isn't much in the way of graphics, with this application. The install
is basic, and it doesn't show much. But what it does show can be very
important...

Plain
and simple... This application shows you in a tool bar if you are on
the web site you think you are. Most of the time, it will report the
same thing that is in the Address bar. But, hackers have ways of hacking
your ISP's (Internet Service Provider's) servers to send you to the
wrong place. As of late March 2005, this has become more proliferant.
And, don't forget those emails that claim to be from a bank or mutual
fund company asking you to log in and change your password.
Check
out the web link, below. It has a couple of test links to show you how
you can be spoofed into being on a different site than you thought you
were on.
